Question:86 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Education the present position in relation to the provision of a new school to replace St. Edmond's national school in Sligo.
Written Answers. - Sligo School Replacement.
As the Deputy will be aware, I have approved the provision of a new national school at Ballytivan, County Sligo which will replace the existing St. Edwards national school. It is my intention that the new building be available at the earliest possible date. My Department's architects have the architectural planning for the project in hands and every effort will be made to complete this with the minimum of delay.
