Vol. 406 No. 3

Written Answers. - Monaghan General Hospital.

William Cotter

Question:

57 Mr. Cotter asked the Minister for Health if the mobile coronary unit attached to Monaghan General Hospital is now in operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand that the Irish Heart Foundation offered a cardiac vehicle to Monaghan General Hospital through the consultant physician at the hospital. The North Eastern Health Board which have responsibility for services at Monaghan General Hospital have not had any approach from the Irish Heart Foundation in connection with this offer.
