84 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Education if she will confirm that funding will be provided in 1991 to commence construction on the community school at Castlerea, County Roscommon, given that all planning stages of this project are now complete.
The architectural planning of the proposed new community school at Castlerea is not yet completed. My Department are awaiting the submission of working drawings and the bill of quantities from the design team engaged for this project.
The question of allocating a specific amount of funds for the project will not arise until planning has been completed and tenders have been obtained and evaluated.
