Vol. 406 No. 4

Written Answers. - Tax Rebate.

Michael Bell

Question:

97 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in the payment of a tax rebate to a person (details supplied) in County Louth.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that an application for a refund of tax during unemployment was received by the inspector of taxes on 20 February 1991. A cheque in settlement for £39.33 in respect of tax overdeducted will issue to the taxpayer shortly.
