Question:62 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education if she will allocate funds in 1991 to Waterford Corporation to proceed with their three year programme for the development of Waterford regional sports centre.

An application from Waterford Corporation for funding towards additional sports facilities at their existing sports centre at Kilbarry, Waterford, is under consideration by my Department.
A decision in the matter will be conveyed to Waterford Corporation as soon as possible.
