Vol. 406 No. 5

Written Answers. - College Pedestrian Access.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

53 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works will favourably consider a request from the students of St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, County Kildare, for a pedestrian access to the college at Bond Bridge, thereby eliminating travel on foot on a dangerous stretch of roadway; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Office of Public Works have not received any request for a pedestrian access to St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, County Kildare, from the bank of the Royal Canal at Bond Bridge. The office would consider any proposal which the college authorities submit concerning pedestrian access.
