Question:79 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education when she intends to sanction the start of work on the building to accommodate the amalgamation of Ballymote boys and girls primary school, County Sligo.

Tenders have been received and examined for the Ballymote national school, County Sligo project. The question of the placing of the contract is being considered and a decision will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest possible date. I am not in a position, at this stage to say precisely when building works will commence.
