Question:

146 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Labour if he will list the (a) commercial, (b) non-commercial bodies and (c) the non-directly elected local or regional authorities under the aegis of his Department.

There are no commercial bodies, such as bodies with a primary remit to commercially trade goods or services, operating under the aegis of my Department.

The non-commercial bodies which operate under my Department are as follows:

An Forás Aiseanna Saothair (FÁS)

The Council for the Education, Recruitment and Training in the Hotel, Catering and Tourism Industries (CERT)

The Levy Appeals Tribunal (LAT)

The Employment Appeals Tribunal (EAT)

The Labour Court

The Labour Relations Commission (LRC)

The Employment Equality Agency (EEA)

The National Authority for Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH)

There are no local or regional bodies operating under the aegis of my Department.

The following is the information requested by the Deputy:

(a) Bord Gáis Éireann, Bord na Móna, Coillte Teoranta, Electricity Supply Board, Irish National Petroleum Corporation.

(b) Nuclear Energy Board.

(c) None.
