Vol. 407 No. 3

Written Answers. - Westmeath New Fire Station.

Paul McGrath

Question:

192 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment if a suitable site has been procured for the proposed fire station at Castlepollard, County Westmeath; if plans for the building have been finalised; the estimated cost of the project; and the funds which are available in 1991 for the project.

Westmeath County Council have sought approval to the provision of a new fire station on a site owned by the council at Castlepollard, at an estimated all in cost of £298,000. The matter is being examined in my Department and a decision will issue to the council as soon as possible.
