212 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if she can assist St. Columba's special school, Strand Street, Dublin 1 with a grant to cover the costs necessary to meet fire safety requirements in the school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The question of grant-aid towards the cost of necessary works at St. Columba's special national school, Gt. Strand Street, Dublin 1, is being considered in my Department and a decision in this regard will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest possible date.
