Question:222 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Defence the number of women in the FCA.

As indicated in reply to Question No. 9 on 5 February 1991, it is proposed to enlist up to 200 female personnel in the FCA in the current year. The vacancies were advertised in the public press recently with the closing date for the return of completed application forms being 30 April 1991. Immediately after that date the process of selecting the most suitable candidates to fill the available vacancies will commence.
