Vol. 407 No. 3

Written Answers. - Land Annuities.

Godfrey Timmins

Question:

51 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if, in view of the difficult incomes situation in agriculture, he will forego payment of land annuities in cases of genuine hardship.

Where genuine hardship exists my Department are always prepared to adopt a sympathetic approach in regard to arrears of land annuities. Each case is considered on its merit and if the Deputy has particular cases in mind, I will be pleased to have them examined.
