Question:

142 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will consider making a concession in the case of a person (details supplied) in Cork who has re-applied for his test and cannot take up employment until the test takes place.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Flynn):

The person in question was tested as recently as 18 April but failed. He reapplied on 25 April and a further test will be arranged at an early date.
