Vol. 407 No. 9

Written Answers. - Little Island, Cork, Traffic Regulation.

Bernard Allen

Question:

180 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make the necessary funding available in order that traffic lights can be located at the cross next to the railway station at Little Island, County Cork, in view of the fact that the road between Dunkettle roundabout and Carrigtwohill has been described as fatal.

The provision of traffic lights is a matter for the local authority, acting at the request of, or with the consent of, the Garda Commissioner.
