On 4 April 1991 I met members of the Reserve Defence Force.
A subsequent meeting between representatives — civil and military — of my Department and members of that Force was held on 1 May 1991. The purpose of the meetings was to ascertain the views of the personnel involved in the question of representative structures for members of the Reserve Defence Force.
These views will be taken into account in connection with the establishment of representative structures for the Reserve Defence Force.
