Question:

97 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a farm improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford in relation to the construction of a sheep shed; and if he will expedite payment.

Payment of the grant in this case is held up due to difficulties at the local FDS offices.

Attempts are being made to have these difficulties resolved at an early date following which the grant will be paid.
