Vol. 409 No. 10

Written Answers. - Personal Injury Awards.

Ivan Yates

Question:

52 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Justice if there are any figures available to show the comparative level of awards for personal damages arising out of insurance claims from accidents in the Republic of Ireland and other European states, including the United Kingdom, in relation to specific injuries; and if so, if he will arrange to have them published.

I am not aware of any figures available to show the comparative level of awards of damages made in personal injury cases arising out of insurance claims from accidents in the State and in other European states.
