Vol. 410 No. 2

Written Answers. - Transfer of Patient.

Gerry O'Sullivan

Question:

190 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health when a date will be arranged to have a person (details supplied) in Cork transferred from the Regional Hospital, Cork to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin, in view of the fact that this transfer was arranged some time ago and was cancelled by the hospital.

I have been informed by Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital that this patient was due for admission on 10 June 1991 but that this arrangement had to be cancelled due to unexpected admissions to the hospital.

The patient was subsequently admitted on 27 June 1991.
