102 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Labour when it is intended to provide the next increase in payments to those on social employment schemes; when notifications of such increases will be given to workers on schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The question of increases in payments to participants on the social employment scheme will be kept under consideration in the light of the budgetary situation.
