Question:54 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Finance when payment of a rebate of income tax will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.
Written Answers. - Income Tax Rebate.
I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer ceased employment on 21 February 1991. A PAYE balancing statement for the year 1990-91 was issued to him by the Inspector of Taxes on 24 May 1991, advising him of a refund of £172.77.
This was followed by a cheque in settlement for this amount on 4 June 1991.
