Written Answers. - Departmental Decentralisation.

Question:

64 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline, in relation to the decentralisation of certain sections of his Department to Killarney: (1) the precise number of appointments made under Department of Finance Circular 15/90 to the grades of assistant principal, higher executive officer, staff officer and clerical officer, (2) the parent Departments of those promoted to each grade and (3) the previous grade of those promoted to executive officer.

It did not become necessary to make any promotions under Department of Finance Circular 15/90 to posts in my Department. One appointment at staff officer level was made under paragraph 3 of the circular of a staff officer from the Department of Social Welfare who applied for relocation to Killarney.
