Question:70 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for Education the name of the successful contractor whose tender she approved recently for a school (details supplied) in County Donegal; and when construction will commence on this project.

My Department are awaiting the payment of the local contribution towards the cost of the school project in County Donegal referred to by the Deputy.
It is long established practice not to divulge to outside parties the name of the contractor before the contract has been placed.
