Question:

69 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education if she will outline, in relation to the decentralisation of certain sections of her Department to Athlone: (1) the precise number of appointments made under Department of Finance Circular 15/90 to the grades of principal officer, higher executive officer, executive officer, staff officer and clerical officer, (2) the parent Departments of those promoted to each grade and (3) the previous grade of those promoted to executive officer.

The information sought by the Deputy is outlined in the following table.

With regard to promotions to executive officer level, 13 officers were appointed from the staff officer grade and three officers from the clerical officer grade.
