Vol. 411 No. 1

Written Answers. - Rutland Street (Dublin) National School.

Tony Gregory

Question:

591 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education her views on whether there is a need for a special class in Rutland Street National School, Dublin 1; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The number of children requiring a special class facility in the school in question has declined in recent years and only four such children were attending the school in the last school year.

My Department's inspectorate are currently pursuing alternative arrangements to meet the educational needs of the four children in question.
