Vol. 411 No. 5

Written Answers. - Group Water Schemes.

Phil Hogan

Question:

113 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will reactivate the group water scheme for a group (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

This proposal was withdrawn by the group in January 1989. It would be a matter for the group to activate any new proposal.

P. J. Sheehan

Question:

114 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for the Environment when an approval and sanction will be given for Kilnaclasha group water scheme in Skibbereen, County Cork.

In this case, I have approved group water scheme grants of £7,800 and a special contribution of £25,000 to meet the cost of upsizing as requested by Cork County Council. The group have requested an increase in the amount of special contribution and this is under consideration.
