58 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Defence if, having regard to the commitment made by him in his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 5 of 19 June 1991 in relation to vessels for the Slua Muirí, he will outline the progress to date.
My Department are exploring the possibility of acquiring a further vessel which would be suitable for training purposes for An Slua Muirí.
As I indicated in my reply of 19 June last, the acquisiton of such an additional vessel will be considered as financial resources permit.
