Question:

115 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Defence the progress made on the proposals for a programme of co-operation between the Military College and the University of Dublin leading to a postgraduate level diploma, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is not proposed, at this stage, to proceed with the introduction of a post graduate level diploma course at the Military College.

The National Council for Education Awards has recognised the cadet course at the Military College as a diploma course in military studies.
