Question:148 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in relation to sanctioning the freehold transfer to a person (details supplied) in County Louth.

Drogheda Corporation were informed by letter of 22 August 1991 that their proposal to dispose of the free simple interest in the case in question appeared to be acceptable and they were requested, in accordance with normal procedure, to forward the deed of conveyance for endorsement of ministerial consent. When this is received, there will be no avoidable delay in finalising the matter.
