Vol. 412 No. 5

Written Answers. - Headage Grant Applications.

Michael Moynihan

Question:

129 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if in respect of farmers in the district electoral division of Kilnamare, Kiltallagh and Milltown, County Kerry, who have recently been classified as more severely handicapped, he will have these farmers who may not have been aware of the necessity of making application for headage grants prior to being reclassified, admitted for 1991 benefits.

Applicants in the areas mentioned who failed to apply for grants on cattle other than beef cows may do so now by submitting a list of such cattle that were in their possession on the reference date of 15 May 1991 and which come under the marts and meat factory dockets concession applicable since 19 August 1991.
