75 Mr. Doyle asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline his policy on the placement of advertisements in provincial newspapers regarding various departmental schemes; and if there has been a cut-back in the use of such newspapers for these purposes.

It has been the policy of my Department to place advertisements in the provincial press regarding the introduction of new schemes and changes and developments in the conditions of existing departmental schemes.

There have been no cut-backs in the use of such newspapers over the past few years.
