Written Answers. - Health and Safety Regulations.

Peter Barry

Question:

163 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Labour if his Department and the State agencies under his control have prepared a safety statement as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989.

Safety statements have been prepared as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989 in respect of the staff of the Department of Labour, Labour Court, Employment Equality Agency, FÁS, CERT and the National Authority for Occupational Safety and Health.

The Labour Relations Commission, which was established earlier this year, is in the course of preparing the required statement.
