Vol. 413 No. 9

Written Answers. - National Route Upgrading.

Jim O'Keeffe

Question:

218 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment (1) if plans have been submitted to his Department for approval to upgrade the national secondary route N71 just east of Ballydehob village, County Cork, (2) if so, whether such plans have been approved and (3) if funding will be made available to enable such improvement works to take place.

No proposals have been submitted by the local authority concerned to upgrade national secondary route N71, at this location. If, and when, such proposals are received they will be given full consideration. The question of funding such works does not arise at this stage.
