256 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Education if he will sanction an extension to CBS, The Green, Tralee, County Kerry, immediately, given that classes are being held in the cloakroom, the lunch area and the school library, which is totally unsatisfactory for a school with an enrolment of 768 pupils.
284 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education when he will sanction the proposed extension to Tralee CBS, County Kerry.
The planning of an extension to the CBS Tralee is proceeding. Currently my Department are examining documentation submitted by the school authority in relation to the detail design/contract document stage of planning.
I am not in a position at present to indicate when construction will commence as this is dependent on the completion of architectural planning, the availability of capital resources and on my Department's other commitments.
