132 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for Health the reason for the delay in providing a brain scan for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 who was diagnosed as epileptic but who cannot be treated until the scan has been carried out.

I have made inquiries from the Mater Hospital who have informed me that they have checked their scanning waiting list and can find no record. However, I have been advised that the person has an out patient appointment with a consultant on Friday 20 December 1991.
