42 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment if he will list (a) the recycling projects for which European assistance has been sought at (1) central Government level and (2) local authorities level and (b) the projects for which assistance has been received or approved, for the period 1991 to 1993.
The European Recovery and Recycling Association (ERRA) is contributing to the costs of the Kerbside Dublin recycling project, which is also being assisted by the Dublin local authorities and by the recycling grants scheme operated by my Department.
There does not appear to be any form of EC assistance directed specifically towards recycling projects; accordingly, my Department's recycling grants scheme has been financed from national funds only.
