Louis J. Belton

Question:

211 Mr. Belton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Longford.

This applicant has already been paid his grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme. Payment under the 1991 special beef premium scheme is being processed and if found in order will issue shortly.

212 Mr. Belton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Longford.

Payments due to this applicant under the 1991 cattle and equines hedage, suckler cow premium and special beef premium schemes are being processed at present and if found in order will be made shortly.

Michael Finucane

Question:

213 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when de-population grants under the reactor grant category will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; if he will outline the value of the grant to be paid and the number of animals eligible for payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been informed by the Director of ERAD that the de-population grants due to the person named will be paid within the next few weeks. The value of the grants is £4,320 and the number of eligible animals is 48.

214 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a cattle headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

This applicant has already been paid his 1991 catttle headage and suckler cow premium schemes grants. His 1991 special beef premium scheme grant is being processed and if found in order will issue shortly.

John V. Farrelly

Question:

215 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a cattle headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath; and if it will be paid before the end of February.

This person is not eligible for grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme because his lands are not in a disadvantaged area. He has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme because, (a) he listed on his application 21 animals on which premium had already been claimed and (b) he did not maintain all the animals listed on his application for two months or until inspections as required under the terms and conditions of the scheme.

216 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a pollution grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath.

Question:

217 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange a sheep headage payment to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny which is owed for quite some time.

Payment of the 1989 sheep headage grant on 58 eligible sheep issued to the person named on 3 February 1992.
