Question:73 Mr. Timmons asked the Minister for Defence the price which was secured for the Air Corps Beechcraft 232 which was recently sold to a buyer in the USA.

A tender competition for the sale of two Beechcraft Kingair 200 aircraft was held in July last. While it is not the practice to disclose details in regard to the offers received from tenderers I can say that the total amount realised from the sale of the two aircraft was £535,000 approximately.
