Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to the Ceann Comhairle under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: Deputy Farrelly: the plans the Minister for Education has for the development of accommodation for St. Mary's Diocesan School, Beamore Road, Drogheda; and if he will allocate sufficient funds in 1992 for the commencement of this project; Deputy Fen-nell: if the Minister for Health will indicate his Department's policy on breast implants in view of the US Food & Drugs Administration's findings; Deputy Deenihan: the delay in the provision of an extension to Causeway comprehensive school, County Kerry which was promised in 1984; Deputy Shatter: the action required to ensure current legislation is adequate to prosecute charges of alleged rape and sexual abuse; Deputy G. Mitchell: if the Minister for Foreign Affairs will consult with the Taoiseach following his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 60 on 25 February 1992 regarding the need for Ministers to boycott St. Patrick's Day parades abroad where organisations which give support to terrorists are involved; Deputy O'Sullivan: the serious concern which has recently been expressed by security forces in Cork at the widespread distribution and availability of drugs in the area; Deputy Rabbitte: the implications for employment in Clondalkin of Atlantic Magnetics being put into receivership with a consequent risk to 150 jobs and if he has any plans to assist in the sale of the firm as a going concern or to find a replacement industry; Deputy Garland: the proposed interchange on the northern cross motorway at Ballymun, Dublin, which has been planned with no proper consultation with the local community who are totally opposed to the scheme; Deputy Leonard: if the Minister for Agriculture and Food proposes to restructure county development teams to allow them to play a more effective role in administering integrated rural development programmes; Deputy Allen: the announced 20 per cent increase on motorcycle insurance premiums from 1 March and if the Minister for Industry and Commerce will intervene to ensure that motorcyclists have a greater choice of companies to get insurance cover from and if he will take steps to avoid this unreasonable increase; Deputy McGinley: an ghéarchéim dífhostaíochta i nGaeltacht Dhún na nGall agus fógra Telectron na Farraige Móire i nGaoth Dobhair dé hAoine seo caite go bhfuil 73 oibrí ag cailliúnt a bpostanna láithreach; Deputy O'Shea: the need for the Minister for Education to provide a lift at St. Joseph's special school, Parnell Street, Waterford; Deputy Ellis: the delay by the Office of Public Works in paying compensation to farmers affected by works on the Ballinamore-Ballyconnel project; Deputy J. Higgins: the need to examine the regulations whereby post-primary teachers from outside the State must undergo an oral Irish examination before they can be eligible for permanent appointment here and the validity of the regulation in question particularly in view of the mutual recognition of qualifications by EC member states.

I have selected for discussion the matters raised by Deputies McGinley, Rabbitte and G. O'Sullivan.
