34 Mrs. Barnes asked the Minister for the Marine if he will appoint representatives of the Salmon Growers' Association to regional fishery boards as requested by that association; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to review the range of interests represented on regional fisheries boards in the context of the elections to these boards which are due at the end of this year. I will be considering in that context the question of giving representation to the aquaculture sector.
