Question:

75 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Finance the reason a person (details supplied) in Dublin 6 has not received a tax rebate from a deed of covenant which she received; if this will be dealt with as soon as possible; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the information required to deal with the deed of covenant was received on 24 January 1992. An amended certificate of tax-free allowance will issue to the taxpayer on 4 March 1992. The appropriate refund will then be made by her employer.
