Written Answers. - School Building Project Approval.

82 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the grave concern that the completion of phase II of the building programme in a school (details supplied) in Dublin 22 was not included in the list of projects announced by his predecessor just before he left office; if he will ensure that approval will be given so that construction can commence in the period April-July 1992 to enable a projected occupation date of September 1993 to be met; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The County Dublin vocational education committee's design team is proceeding with the planning of this project and this has reached the detail design stage. The question of providing funds for the construction of the new building will be considered when planning has been completed. Every effort will be made, within the resources available, to include this project among those for which tenders may be sought in 1992.
