248 Mr. Power asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the urgent need for a new school at Brownstown, County Kildare; and if he will make the necessary arrangements to allow the building to commence in 1992.
Planning for the proposed new national school at Brownstown, County Kildare is proceeding.
It has not been possible to include this in the expenditure programme which has been approved for 1992 because of other commitments and demands. The position will be kept under review during the course of the year, however, in light of developing experience with ongoing commitments.
