78 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Marine if he will outline the grants made available to his Department for special works to be carried out to lakes in County Cavan in conjunction with FÁS; if similar types of grants are available for lakes in County Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Grants are not made available to my Department in respect of special works to be carried out in conjunction with FÁS. However, a number of regional fisheries boards do avail of FÁS grants from time to time for fishery improvement schemes.
