138 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will investigate the serious position in Firies, County Kerry, arising from a defective sewerage system; when the necessary funds will be provided to install a proper sewerage system, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A preliminary proposal for the sewerage scheme at Firies is under consideration in my Department. I am not in a position to indicate when there will be a decision.
