Question:

165 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline the percentage throughput of our meat processing plants in each of the years from 1987 to 1991 inclusive in respect of intervention aid for private storage in the UK, EC and other trading destinations.

I presume that the Deputy's query relates solely to the Irish beef sector. The table below provides data in respect of throughput and disposals at export licensed processing plants in the beef sector in each of the years in question:
