I propose to take Questions Nos. 15, 17, 21, 35, 36, 38 and 57 together.

The proportion of Irish electricity supplies which was derived from renewable energy sources for the years in question was as follows:

1981

912.6

8.8

The proposed wind farm to be built at Bellacorrick, County Mayo later this year is expected to add approximately 17 gigawatt hours per annum to electricity supplies derived from renewable sources. The installed capacity of this new plant will be 6.45 megawatts and its output will represent the first significant contribution to electricity supplies from wind power in this country.
There is no target figure for an amount of electricity to be generated from renewable sources in 2001.
