272 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the number of requests from Dublin County Council for the making of special amenity area orders; if he will give details of each request; if he will further outline, (a) the date on which each such application was received, (b) the decision made on each such application and (c) when a decision may be given on each such outstanding application, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Dublin County Council (Lucan Bridge to Palmerston) special amenity area order, 1987 was submitted for confirmation on 1 May 1987 and was confirmed on 8 March 1990, subject to minor modification. No further such order has been submitted for confirmation by the council.
