Question:

308 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of IDA grants paid to companies rendering animal by-products in the past ten years; the name of the company in each case; and the amount of grant in each case.

Following are details of grants approved and paid in respect of independent rendering operations since 1980. Not included are grants approved and paid to beef slaughtering premises in respect of inhouse rendering which would be paid as part of an overall beef processing approval.
