Question:

310 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a beef premium and suckler cow grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This person's application for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme for small-scale milk producers is being processed at present and if found in order payment will be made as soon as possible.

His 1991 special beef premium scheme application is being processed at present and if found in order will be paid shortly.

Question:

311 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid his headage and suckler grants for 1991; and when the file was passed from the Ennis office of his Department.

This person's applications for grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes are being processed at present and payments will issue shortly. He has already been paid his grant under the 1991 special beef premium scheme. The relevant files were originally passed from the Ennis office on 21 November 1991. They were passed again on 18 February 1992 following correction of an error.
