Donal Carey

Question:

336 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid her special beef premium; and when the file was passed from the Ennis office of his Department.

This person's application for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order payment will be made shortly. The relevant file was passed from the Ennis office on 27 February 1992.

337 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid his sheep headage grant for 1990; and when the file was passed from the Ennis office of his Department.

The 1991 sheep headage grant was paid to the person named on 26 November 1990.

338 Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will have arrangements made for the immediate payment of a hogget subsidy for 1991 to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

Payment of the 1991 sheep headage grant issued to the person named on 19 March 1992.

339 Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a control of farmyard pollution grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

340 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will reconsider his refusal to pay a beef premium grant under the 1990 beef premium scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick as only one animal was deemed ineligible; if he will consider paying a grant for the other animals on this person's application at a reduced rate of 80 per cent of the premium; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted. However, she has already been paid all grants due to her under the 1990 special beef premium scheme.

Provided her application is otherwise in order she will be paid shortly on her eligible animals under the 1991 special beef premium scheme at 80 per cent of the normal rate as she listed on her application an animal which was not in her herd at the date of application and which had received premium under the 1990 scheme.

John Bruton

Question:

341 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a beef premium grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath as payment was expected in October 1991.

This applicant has already been paid his grant under the 1991 special beef premium scheme. His application for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly.

Question:

342 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will review a decision regarding the application for a beef subsidy from a person (details supplied) in County Laois having regard to the circumstances of the case.

Following a review of the case of the person named, he may now be paid premium at 80 per cent of the normal rate on his eligible animals provided his application passes a computer validation check.

This applicant has already been paid her grant under the 1991 special beef premium scheme. Her application for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme is being processed at present and payment will be made shortly.

This applicant has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme as he listed three ineligible female animals on his application form.

346 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a beef subsidy and suckler cow grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

This person's application for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme and the 1990 and 1991 EC suckler cow premium schemes for small-scale milk producers are being processed at present and if found in order payments will be made shortly.

347 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when grants for small milk producers will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

This persons application for grants under the 1990 suckler cow premium scheme for small scale milk producers cannot be approved because it was received after the closing date for receipt of applications.

He did not apply for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme for small scale milk producers.

This person's application for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order payment will be made shortly.
